Polish developer CD Projekt is currently developing two ports of their successful debut The Witcher. Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to play the role-playing-game next year. It is yet unknown whether there will be special content for the console versions, but it's official CD Projekt uses a completely new and not-licensed engine.

Velvet Assassin, a stealth FPS by Hamburg developer Replay Studios, won't be released for Sony's Playstation 3. Publisher Gamecock explained Velvet Assassin's engine simply wouldn't be suitable for the PS3 so that a port became too expensive for them.

Too funny though that other Unreal 3 Engine powered games run pretty fine on Sony's flagship ...

Update: The newest patch v1.02 removes the Qur'an lyrics in Little Big Planet, and thus is capable of putting endless controversies and discussions to a rest. The patch is already available for all European LBP gamers.
