NintendoWii Fit to Cost $90

Nintendo announced that when Wii Fit is released in North America on May 19, it will cost $90. Wii Fit includes both software and the Wii Balance Board accessory (that sports pressure sensors that can detect the weight and balance of someone standing on the board) and supports "more than 40 yoga, aerobics, strength training and balance activities." more...

The market research company NPD Group has released data about sales in the US video game business. According to their findings, Nintendo DS was the top selling system with nearly 8.5 million handhelds being sold. Wii comes second (6.3. million). Overall, 52% of all consoles (including both handhelds and set-top consoles) that were sold in the US in 2007 were Nintendo consoles. more...

New North American Game Releases (Dec. 24 – Dec. 31)The period from December 24 through December 31 wasn't much of a time for game releases in North America.
