EA Extends and Amends Offer for Take-Two Interactive

Electronic Arts has extended its offer to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Take-Two Interactive. EA has also slightly amended the terms of the offer to account for the results of Take-Two Interactive's annual shareholder meeting.

GTA IV Gets Firm Release Date

Rockstar Games, the premier label of Take-Two Interactive, confirmed that Grand Theft Auto IV will be released simultaneously for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 29, 2008.

This marks the first time that Rockstar has released a Grand Theft Auto console game on Microsoft’s console at the same time it is released for Sony’s console.
