Greg Zueschuk, Vice President at BioWare, stated the company's plans on downloadable content for their rpg Dragon Age. According to him, their strategy is to deliver such content "in maybe a year and-a-half or two years." The most important criteria for him, however, is the quality.

BioWare Opens New Studio

BioWare is establishing a new studio within Electronic Arts Montreal. The team will be working on the sequel to Mass Effect. For that purpose, BioWare is hiring 30 new developers, including artists, animators and designers.

EA alluded that they might finance the game with so called "microtransactions." This implies that gamers would have to pay for special in-game items, but could play the game for free (after purchasing a copy, of course).
