Bethesda has released the first patch v1.0.0.15 for their newest hit Fallout 3. The 6 MB updates fixes a few bugs:

1. Fixed occasional crashes when exiting the game or using Alt F4 to exit.
2. Fixed crashes when using Alt-Tab while binks or credits were playing.
3. The game now restarts properly after title updates finish installing.

Are you one of the guys who drinks his coffee black and who wants to explore the wasteland around DC on your own, instead of following a marker on your HUD? You are in luck, it is really easy to get rid of them.
To deactivate them, open the FalloutPrefs.ini. The file should be in the folder

Pete Hines, Bethesda's Vice President of Marketing, now confirmed the fact that Fallout 3 will launch without Trophies. Of course, this leaves a bitter taste for PS3 players. Whether Trophy support will be added later in the form of a title update wasn't ruled out by Hines either. more...
