Shuhei Yoshida replaces Phil Harrison at SonyShuhei Yoshida replaces Phil Harrison at Sony

Shuhei Yoshida is the new president of Sony Computer Entertainment WorldWide Studios (SCE WWS) and replaces Phil Harrison, who left the company in March this year. Kazuo Hirai, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI), outlines the strategy they want to run with Yoshida: Under the leadership of Yoshida, who has proven track record in managing creative talent, SCE WWS will accelerate the software development for the PlayStation 3 and PSP platforms and vigorously expand the gaming market. Yoshida was one of the founders of the project PlayStation and has been vice president of product development at Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) from 2000-2007. In 2007 he was then promoted to be senior vice president of product development, since then being responsible for all software development activities in North America. If the abbreviations SCE WWS, SCEI and SCEA sound confusing, this might be an useful outline for you: In 2005 SCEI unified all their regional product developments under the global structure SCE WWS, which since then works closely with Sony's studios all over the world and is therefore responsible for setting the global product strategy as well as managing development operations with the different studios. Shuhei Yoshida is now the head of this whole structure and his most important aims will be as follows: SCE WWS has been developing global hit titles, sharing resources and know-how within SCE Group since it's foundation, and we will reinforce our software business by further enhancing coordination among the studios under a new leader. Another aim, although unspoken, will definitely be to boost the sales of the PS3.

Is it possible to post this picture or is it the wrong size? http://b.imagehost.org/0823/management_full_shuhei.jpg
Das Bild sieht etwas unscharf aus, ich mache mal einen Gegenvorschlag: Bild 600px
Thanks. My pic was really not that nice to look at. What did you do different than me? Your pics are always really good, can you tell me your "strategy" or the programs that you use?
Wow, look what happens when you type without thinking, I actually wrote in german...damn, sorry for that :-)
Well, I use Photoshop for all my work on pictures, but any other half-decent graphics-program should be able to resize pictures fairly ok, I think in this case the difference is simple that I used a very high-res source image (2500xsomething), then cropped out the part I wanted and resized that to a width of 600.
