Echochrome is now available for download through the PlayStation store for both the PSP and the PlayStation 3.

In case you haven't heard of Echochrome, it's a simple puzzle game in which you guide an artist's model through an M.C. Escher-inspired landscape. The simple, line-drawn landscape can be rotated to create optical illusions the dummy can follow. For example, if you obscure a gap, it is as if that gap doesn't exist. Players can also create their own levels in "Canvas" mode. Grand Theft Auto IV may be one of the most anticipated games of the year by the average gamer, but Echochrome has been one of the most anticipated games by industry insiders.

If you still don't know exactly what Echochrome is, have a look at the E3 Trailer.

The idea behind Echochrome is fantastic. I love these experimental kind of games. Too bad Sony won't release it for PC.

I've seen a little bit of Echochrome on Tuesday at PlayStation day in London. It really looks promising.
