GamersGlobal's Page Rank

Germany —

This is just a little self-motivating news, but perhaps some of you contributors and reporters find it interesting, too: I've just noticed that GamersGlobal.com climbed to Google Page Rank 4. This is still very small, but no longer tiny. For your information, one of the leading German games websites, gamestar.de, has 7, gamepro.com has 8, and nytimes.com has 9.

I am not sure what that even means, but congrats anyway. Next stop = 8 ? :-)

The page rank is important for being listed prominently in google's search results. Basically, incoming links from sites with a high page rank increase your own page rank.

4 is as little or much as uk.ign.com has. I noticed that because they redirect you to their UK site when you try to reach ign.com from europe.

That's great, I just installed a firefox statusbar plugin to keep track of this.
With this I'm also keeping track of the Alexa rating for gamersglobal.com.
