THQ confirmed that it is making a game version of the upcoming film Journey to the Center of the Earth for the DS.

The film will be a fully 3D film starring Brendan Fraser that should reach theaters in North America on July 11 (based on the novel by Jules Verne). The game will explore seven of the regions shown in the film and have players use their DS do things like survive a dinosaur chase and try to control a runaway mine cart.
