NCsoft has launched the major content update called "Hellbound" for Lineage II to coincide with the retail launch of the Lineage II 4th Anniversary Edition.

"Hellbound" builds on the content launched last year for "Kamael". It adds a new raid boss (Beleth in the Steel Citadel), top-level items and raises the level cap to 85. It lets players grow wolves into mounts called "Fennir" and gives players more transformation options so that they can change into powerful alternate forms.

The Lineage II 4th Anniversary Edition includes 60 days of game time as part of the $40 purchase price and two exclusive in-game items.
