The new version of Sony’s PlayStation Store is now accessible through the PlayStation 3. As part of the v2.30 system software update, PlayStation 3 owners can now access the new version of the store. As a response to user complaints (and, presumably, to better compete with Xbox Live) the new version of the store is easier to navigate, using improved navigation and sorting to make it easier to find (and purchase) games, themes, demos and video content.

The update also adds DTS-HD Master Audio output for Blu-ray videos, improving the quality of audio while watching Blu-ray content using the PlayStation 3
