Ubisoft has entered into an agreement with Gameloft to acquire Gameloft's development studio in Pune, India.

The Pune studio was founded in late 2006 and employs 120 developers who primarily port games to handheld consoles. Ubisoft hopes to increase the studio size to 2000 developers. The acquisition should be completed shortly.
