Peripheral manufacturer The Ant Commandos is planning to release a line of musical controllers compatible with Rock Band and Guitar Hero later this spring.

All of the controllers will support both the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 and are designed to be compatibile with all the Guitar Hero games and Rock Band.

The Double Range Guitar will be a wireless guitar with two sets of fret buttons that should retail for $50. The Widow Maker bass guitar will be a wireless bass guitar controller available for $60. The Breakfree Wireless Microphone Dual Pack will include two wireless microphones that should work with everything from the SingStar games to karaoke games. The company is also making a universal adaptor to allow PlayStation 2 controllers to be used on the PlayStation 3.
