APB maker raises $50 Million of additional cashAPB maker raises $50 Million of additional cashUK based Realtime Worlds, the maker of Crackdown and the upcoming action MMOG APB (see our GDC news), has secured $50 Million from three investors. This is the second investment round after the company received $31 million in 2006 by another investor. Realtime Worlds was founded in 2002 by Lemmings and GTA creator Dave Jones. According to a press release, "the Series B investment will support Realtime Worlds’ continued growth and expansion as the company develops new creative properties and brings innovative online gaming experiences to market." Let's hope that this injection of money will help Realtime Worlds to decide on the platform(s) APB will run on, which still have not been announced.

I'm very eager to find out, if APB will be the next big thing, or if it will crash.
P.S. Wow, Lemmings, that reminds me of how beautiful the box for that Game was designed, and at that Time Rockstar North was still called DMA Design.
