Publisher Take-Two Interactive announced a delay of the Grand Theft Auto IV release from October 16, 2007 to the second quarter of its 2008 fiscal year -- which begins February 1, 2008.
Certain elements of development proved to be more time-intensive than expected, especially given the commitment for a simultaneous release on two very different platforms. -- Strauss Zelnick, Chairman of Take-Two
The delay doesn't come as a big surprise though, since the game has been kept under wraps so far and proved to be pretty much of a no-show at this years E3 Media Festival. GTA IV is coming for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

I hope they will announce the PC Version anytime soon, the suspense is killing me, even if it's coming X-mas'08 (worst case scenario), not knowing is worse.
