Atlus USA confirmed that it will release Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 for the DS on July 1.

The game brings the characters from the previous installment of Trauma Center back to once again perform rapid surgical operations using the DS touchscreen to save citizens from the aftereffects of an artificially created threat to human health. The sequel promises improved tool functionality to give players more control during surgery.
