LucasArts confirmed the official release date for its game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. This new Star Wars game is set during the time period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and tells the story of Darth Vader's secret apprentice, trained by Vader to hunt down Jedi.

Play in The Force Unleashed focuses on the player's mastery of various force powers (like Force Push or Force Grip), that get stronger and stronger over time. LucasArts promises that Force Unleashed will be the next big thing in the Star Wars universe. The engine is completely new and will feature advanced techniques like "Digital Molecular Matter" (realistic physical properties of objects and materials) or "Euphoria" (authentic behavior of the characters in the game).

The game will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 16 in the United States, on September 17 in Southeast Asia and Australia, and September 19 in Europe.

when I read "Darth Vader's secret apprentice" I actually had to laugh, that sounds so far-fetched, like Yoda training a fleet of Jedi in secret, that nobody had heart about until now.

In other news: I'm beginning to feel stupid for spending 600€ on a graphic-card, now that only one out of ten games is announced to be released for the PC.

Warhammer 40k II exclusively for the PC.
Strategy games are our last bastion ;)

True, and sadly that's not my genre, I think the last real Strategy Game I played was Battle Isle on the Amiga...if you're not counting Civ4.
I'm more of an RPG Guy myself. And for a long time, the only home for RPG's was the PC Platform, but now it pains me to see that titles like Fable2 are developed for a console.
