THQ has acquired the casual publishing label Elephant Entertainment and entered into a worldwide retail publishing agreement with Oberon Media.

Elephant will continue to be led by its president Wim Stocks, who will report to Doug Clemmer (president of THQ's Valusoft division) and will still release casual games.

THQ will also work with Oberon Media to bring some of Oberon's franchises (such as the Dream Day games) to consoles.
