Mexican agencies busted a substantial game piracy effort in the Tepito market of Mexico City, Mexico.

The Agencia Federal de Investigation and the Procuraduria General de la Republica raided four facilities where pirated games were being duplicated in Mexico City. The Entertainment Software Association estimates that 88% of games in Mexico are pirated, so the seizure has been applauded by publishers. The raids seized 290 disc burners, 28,000 illegally duplicated games and 900,000 cover inserts for video games.
