Turbine and Codemasters plan to release a retail expansion for their massively multiplayer online game The Lord of the Rings Online. Late this year, they will launch The Mines of Moria, marking the beginning of Volume II and six new books of content for The Lord of the Rings Online.

Obviously, The Mines of Moria will introduce Moria as a location full of mines, dungeons and an underground cityscape, but the expansion will also raise the level cap to 60. The expansion will include new traits, virtues, skills and class quests for high-level characters and will broaden the crafting system, even allowing players to craft legendary items. The Mines of Moria will add two new classes for players, the Warden and the Rune-Keeper, giving players a lot to look forward to.
