Sony is planning two new bundles for its gaming platforms in North America this year, one for the PSP and one for the PlayStation 3.

The PlayStation 3 bundle will ship sometime in the first half of the year, and will include an 80 GB PlayStation 3, a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and a DualShock 3 Wireless Controller. Speaking of which, the DualShock Wireless Controller will begin to ship in North America in April. The MGS PS3 Bundle will cost $499.

The latest PSP bundle will be released in June, and will feature a God of War theme. The PSP bundle will cost $200 and will include a copy of God of War: Chains of Olympus and a red PSP with Kratos’ head on the reverse. The bundle will also include a UMD copy of the film Superbad and a voucher to download a copy of Syphon Filter: Combat Ops for the PSP through the PlayStation Store.
