We just had the chance to get an in-depth look at Spore, speak to the Executive Producer of the game, Lucy Bradshaw, and also play it ourselves for a couple of minutes -- we think that the game is even more promising than we thought in our preview special. And although we'll have to wait with everybody else for a February 13th embargo in order to give you our preview with lots of new screenshots, we can comment on a recent rumor that Spore will be delayed until the second half of 2008: Based upon what we saw and heard, we *think* that Spore won't be out in the first quarter of 2008, but it won't be delayed too much, either. Right now, we think that Spore could be out in early summer. Please keep in mind that this is not confirmed, official information, though.
