Team Fortress 2: Meet the Low Poly TeamTeam Fortress 2: Meet the Low Poly Team

Modder Tom Tallian released a complete set of beautifully done low polygon models of all Team Fortress 2 characters. While original ingame models consist of around 4000 to 6000 polygons each, Tallian's versions (pictured above) turn out to be a lot GPU and CPU friendlier: Each model comes in at around just 400 to 500 polygons without loosing its unique style. Tallian even went so far and released his work as a free for all download package: Team Fortress 2 Low Poly Pack, All 9 classes + intel. .MAX (8), .OBJ, and .TGA files (895 KByte) We should also note, that there are two kinds of models for each character in Team Fortress 2. Besides those 4000+ poly models mentioned above, there are also ultra high 16.000+ poly models of each character. Those come with facial details and are being used for cinematics. On a semi-related note: Some folks made Lego versions of Team Fortress 2 as well as Portal. But before you ask, these aren't official Lego toys; hence they aren't for sale.
