The just released 2007-08 Third-Quarter Sales report by Ubisoft reveals, that the publisher plans to release a new Prince of Persia title within the next 24 months. At the end of page two of their report, it reads:
The 2008-09 line-up will include notably the following key titles:
7 franchises, including Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Brothers in Arms, Far Cry, Prince of Persia and Anno* [...]

It remains to be seen, if this turns out to be previously rumored Prince of Persia: Ghosts of the Past prequel.
*Anno is a highly successful strategy game in Germany, its latest installment is known as A.D. 1701 in North America.

Most negative points are from anonymous players ... so I guess somebody really hates Prince of Persia out there.
I liked the Prince of Persia titles beginning with Sands of Time - great story, well told, controls a bit weird at first ... but hey who's perfect ?
I find the decision to allow anonymous ratings questionable.
