World of Warcraft: Game and Gamers at Their Limits.World of Warcraft: Game and Gamers at Their Limits.Curious: A gamer managed to hoard so much gold that he reached the limit, which is 241.748 Gold, 36 Silver and 46 copper. The game doesn't allow a single copper coin more. Here is a screenshot to prove it. A translation of the chat with a Gamemaster is availible on request :) Another player didn't reach the Gold limit, but his own. According to "Het Nieuwsblad op Zondag", a fifteen year old Belgian played day and night, consuming energy drinks and coffee. Until it was just too much, he was unconscious for almost 24 hours. Is it possible that Blizzard created a game which is just too good for a few people? I mean, I played some games a lot, but everytime they got boring after a while...

That is cool - in a way. However, sad, too. For one, this guy (hope it's not you! ^^) is probably not having much of a real life; second - what should he do next; what did he play for anyway after being able to buy everything there is in the game? I'd have bought Ironforge, probably ;)
no, its not me. I played WoW until my Mudahin had reached lvl 54...
I was thinking if now more players try to reach the limit, or if just Blizzard will invest a few bits and allow 1000 times more gold :)
He should sell it on Ebay and buy a decent bed to sleep in instead of playing WoW at 2.34 am :)
I don't want to sound cliche while bashing people for playing too much Wow, but I just can't resist ^^
This is a good indication that this guy plays too much WoW!
To all hardcore WoW players:
Don't be such a bitch to the gaming industry, give other games a chance!
Give other games a chance? This sounds, like the article stated, if some games really were to good to be handled by a few people :-)
That was actually off topic.
Several months ago, I've read an article which stated that the hardcore WoW players don't buy other games anymore and thus WoW does direct damage to the gaming industry.
I heard some developer saying that in 2005 already. And it is right. People sit in front of their computers all day and are not bored by a game they have bought 2 years ago...
1.) Wow, he must be a real cheapskate to hoard that much money.
2.) I had a few crazy 50hour-sessions in my time in Neocron, or later in WoW, but I never came even close to this, you must be a real freak to so bluntly ignore your bodies desire for sleep, usually he takes what he needs at a certain point...before you need a hospital to get a good nights sleep.
