Centraldark.com is Alone in the Dark 5 Website (Update)

United States —

Turns out, we here at GamersGlobal were pretty much right with our speculations about centraldark.com. This previously somewhat mysterious site has now turned into the official Alone in the Dark 5: Near Death Investigation product website. Sadly though, it doesn't offer anything especially current on the game.

[Tragically] Funny thing is, although the PC version is still mentioned in their "hot news" section, which, surprise, holds one press release, the site itself doesn't seem to contain any game content from the PC version at all. But if you're a Wii, Playstation 2 or Xbox 360 owner, you get lucky in the screenshots sections. Which, admittedly, holds a few unseen images -- there's even one in first person view.

Alone in the Dark 5: Near Death Investigation is supposed to come out this March, but Games For Windows magazine recently mentioned it to be delayed to September 2008.

Yay to us for being right, but sadly it sounds like the best the PC can hope for is a 'port'.
Very strange that I have to feel like a second-class gamer these days, despite the fact that my 'box' costs 10 times the money of a 360.
