Blizzard fansites are buzzing about the latest rumors surrounding a potential sequel to Diablo. Spanish website hardgame2.com found out that developer Blizzard acquired the domain diabloiii.com.es around two month ago. This recent finding certainly proves, that Blizzard is actively engaged in securing domains related to a third Diablo game. For the sake of completeness: It might be interesting to note, that Blizzard owns the domain diabloiii.es for more than a year now though.
Hardgame2.com also notes, that the Blizzard Authorized Fansite Database has just opened an empty Diablo 3 links section.

Interesting. I'd be delighted to play Diablo 3! (Duh^^ as would millions of others ;)

Yes, it's definitely one of the stranger hobbies.
What the heck do they want with some spanish Sites, when the Sites diabloiii.com and diablo3.com aren't in their possession? This has nothing to do with being disrespectful against spanish speaking people, in big projects, the .es, .de. .fr (etc) -domains are just copies of the main .com-Domain.
So they might use something like diablo3-the-game.com.
