With Street Fighter 4 in the making, I thought you folks might be interesting in taking a look at Street Fighter III which only came out for Playstation 2 and Dreamcast. Here's a short guide of how to emulate the game to run on your Windows PC -- please mind, that you need to own the game in order to obey the law. 1st Step: Get CPS3 Emulator 1.0a or newer (553KByte) from nebula.emulatronia.com and extract the archive to a directory of your choice -- like 2nd Step: Inside the same folder ( 3rd Step: In order to play Street Fighter 3, we need two game files. The first is called 4th Step: Run emulator.exe -> Emulator -> Load Rom and select Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future (CHD). Hint: You might want to customize your controls or connect a gamepad.

thanks. more of this please!
Nice idea. Haven't played it for a long time.
Finally a use for that gamepad I bought half a decade ago. :D
It works! Awesome!
The last street fighter I played was SF 2 Alpha and I recognized that the moves were different, so here is a site with lists of moves for every character:

I get the feeling that street fighter is based upon playing on a big analog joystick and having big buttons.
I often have problems pulling of a Shoryuken with the keyboard and with my gamepad :(
hey, when i try to the run the game it says: there are missing files. load aborted.
did i do something wrong?=)
greetz,
dakilla
Yes, you did.^^
If you followed the instructions above (which worked for me), the only possible step where you could have gone wrong that I can think of is that you clicked on the wrong SF3 in the last step.
