Aside from the intro and ending titles, and 2-3 Final Cut white flashes to accentuate music beats, the teaser is 100% captured from in game via Fraps.

Original Story: 3D Realms just released the fist high-res image (mirror) of Duke Nukem Forever and also has a teaser trailer coming within 24 hours -- eg. December 19th. According to George Broussard of 3D Realms, the teaser trailer will run for about 60 seconds, be in HD and weight around 100 MByte. He further adds:
[...]This is a teaser. It's not a full blown trailer like the 2001 trailer (but something like that is coming). I tried to be clear about that in the message board post, so just bear in mind that it's a teaser :)

Here's how things came to be:
[...]It turns out that several people had been secretly working late nights and into the wee hours of the morning preparing a special video for those at the [3D Realms Christmas] party. They created a short teaser for Duke Nukem Forever.After seeing the teaser we thought it was something we should share with all of you and while it's just a teaser, rest assured more is coming.
Tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th, around noon CST, we will release the first teaser trailer from Duke Nukem Forever.

Duke Nukem Forever again got first place in this years Vaporware.
Imho the funniest thing about the Duke is, that alot of today's gamers are simple to young to even know who the Duke is :-)
Duke3D came out in '96, that's 12 years.
I was 8 when Duke3D came out and I already had my own computer back then and I played it!
But I get what you mean ;)
Soon the newest gaming generation won't know Diablo, Starcraft, XCom, Dungeon Keeper etc.
