On Wednesday, a new major content update was introduced into NCsoft’s massively multiplayer online game Lineage II called “The First Throne: The Kamael.” The expansion adds a new playable race, new lands and new battles for this PvP-centric game.

The biggest addition in this update is the race of the Kamael. The Kamael are a race of warriors able to manipulate dark magic. Every Kamael begins with one wing, and the lifelong quest of every Kamael warrior is to earn their second wing, assuming the powerful “final” Kamael form.

Other additions include new armor slots (and new armor to use in those slots), new high-level content and fortress battles. Lineage II is known for its massive PvP castle sieges. Fortress battles are daily affairs on a smaller scale designed to provide players with more alternatives for PvP combat.
