Dean Takahashi of Mercury News interactive interviewed Jeff Gerstmann, former head of reviews at GameSpot, who was fired on Nov. 28 after publishing a review of the Eidos game "Kane & Lynch" at GameSpot. Rumors say his rating of the game was intolerably below what Eidos and/or Gerstmann's GameSpot employers expected and considered appropriate for the game. A non-disclosure agreement prevents Gerstmann from speaking about the true reasons for his leaving; however, his review of "Kane & Lynch" is no longer available at GameSpot.
