It’s already known that Electronic Arts plans to release FIFA Street 3 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Today, EA confirmed that it will also release a DS version of the game for handheld gamers. This arcade-style soccer (sorry – “football”) game featuring top real-life players will be released for all three platforms on February 15, 2008 in Europe and on February 19 in North America.

The game features smaller teams playing in urban settings like a playground in South America or an Asian rooftop, and power-ups and combos that emphasize fun over realism. The DS version will feature play similar to that planned for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, but using the DS touchscreen to control the players. The DS version of the game will also feature a juggling mini-game not included in the other versions of the game.
