Gamespot: Gerstmann Conspiracy Put to an End?Gamespot: Gerstmann Conspiracy Put to an End?After a week of wild speculations, and conspiracy theories all over the net Gamespot, a CNet fork, finally gives clarification on its "Gerstmann case." Rumors said that Jeff Gerstmann, Gamespot's former editorial director for eleven years, was fired for giving a mightily bad review of Eidos' title Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. This theory was even more supported by the shortly following removal of Gerstmann's video review and the various edits made to his original review text. As well, Eidos was running some Kane & Lynch advertisements on Gamespot that were never to be seen again after Gerstmann's firing. If you want to find out (Gamespot's) truth about what really happened, read their Gerstmann FAQ.
