Christmas is coming, even for GamersGlobal! Thus, it is time to get merry, isn't it? Let's crack up a bit by watching this little funny Star Wars parody featuring the dark side for your pleasure. Come on, and "Join the Dark Side." The video was recorded in Japan, Tokyo.

It would be great to add this video:

Which video, exactly?
Someone forgot a link somewhere...
I posted the embedded link in my comment, right after writing the news, but it said that it will require administrative review before it gets posted. Ah well, will add a normal link to the post :/.
I certainly enjoyed the video, but how is this news?
Hm... Good call!
Heh, thanks :) What I'm trying to say is, how do we deal with stuff like that? In my eyes it's not news and not game related, but I wouldn't want to miss it either.
Suggestion: How about having a regular "chat thread", where we can all post off topic stuff and things of interest that are not related to games!?
A chat thread is a good idea. But you may have to think about some kind of an alternative layout for that (or make it a new subsection besides "top", "new", etc.), otherwise it may get a bit cluttered, if it's just one thread like the one for feedback and support.
I could of course be wrong, so let's just try it as one thread and see what happens. ;)
If there would be more channels in the future, e.g. for every major gaming system, one could think of a channel called "misc" or "off-topic", but that would of course only work if we would get a lot more articles a day.
Right now, my personal opinion would be to wait before changing anything, if the situation would change and a lot of posts like "omgz, l00k what I f0und on Utube" would flood in, I would vote for either deleting them if they would neither contain new information nor be game-related, or move them to a special "cutting-room-floor-section.
There are already way to many Youtube-driven blogs out there, and I would be against GamersGlobal becoming a "funny-link-collection"
I have nothing against an execption now and then, but I swear I'll leave when I see the first "cute cat video" here :-)
What I'm trying to say is, that it's my option that most news can be much better transfered to an audience by written text, then with pictures and videos. Don't get me wrong, screenshots are important and video-interviews are great, but they are accompanying the news and aren't the news itself in most cases.
Sorry for this rant, I'm merely voicing my opinion.
