The New PSP Gets a New Battery
Sony plans to introduce a better battery for the newest model of the PSP (the slimmer PSP 2000).
The new battery kit includes a 2200mAh battery that Sony expects will provide a battery life twice as long as the battery that comes standard with the new PSP. The kit will cost $45 and should be available in North America in mid-December. The new battery is also thicker than the new PSP, so it will come with a new cover, but will create a large bulge in the back of the PSP unit.
Sony previously released a similar kit for the older model of PSP.
