Last updated on November 26, 2007 - 10:51.
Despite the controversial reviews there are 3 good reasons why Ubisoft Montreal's newest AAA-title (whose producer is our lovely Ms. Raymond), Assassin's Creed, already gained the status of a legendary game. Here is why:
Assassin's Creed is available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A PC version release date is yet to be announced. Now go, get playing!

+10EXP Also, please add an info about the platform you've played it on.
Oh, and: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4zC9i0Vt0o
The pushing video is quite funny actually; Altair as Tai-Qi trainee pushing people - but it's no bug, actually. Gently pushing the people aside is an in-game gameplay feature in order to not draw attention to you when running through the streets and violently running into people knocking them down or making them drop their goods.
Requested information added.
hmm I didn't get that it had been released at all. perhaps I should quit university...
hope the pc version gets out soon. all i´ve seen so far was amazing. it COULD be an awsome game. if the developers stick to their promises it has to be good
"We could be talking about February 2008" is what Patrice Desilets said in the interview here at GG.
any game would be good if the developers would do that :)
Completely contrary opinion: Why Assassin's Creed Fails @ http://blog.wired.com/games/2007/11/review-why-assa.html
A very nice review, if you ask me. However, things are more diverse: one gamer may find the gameplay elements sufficient to toy around with, in a free and open world; another one may find Altair's assassin life too repetitive. It's up to you to find out.
