Pure guess here, but centraldark.com looks like viral marketing for Atari's upcoming Alone in the Dark game. Here are the things that support this conclusion. First: Alone in the Dark 5 will take place in New York's Central Park. Second: The domain, which contains the word dark, is registered to:

   Name Server: NOLITA.ATARI.COM<br />

Centraldark.com also has a countdown, pointing to December 12th, which promises that some kind of truth will be revealed.

Which supports your theory, Infogrames is the Developer for the Alone in the Dark Series.

So I wouldn't bet against you.

I first looked into the page code, but they weren't clumsy enough to leave anything in there that pointed to them directly, but people forget about WhoIs all the time :-)
