The Resident Evil: Extinction Blue-Ray disc will not contain demos of Resident Evil 5 or Devil May Cry 4, Capcom USA announced. The official word is a reaction to rumors, published by PS3 weblog threespeech.com earlier today, claiming that the movie disc will feature playable content to both titles.

This is unfortunately incorrect: the disc actually has hi-def trailers for both of those games, not actual playable code.

Seeing a demo of Resident Evil 5 this soon, did seem a little strange anyway. Last time Capcom talked about a release date, they mentioned 2009.
