Playboy magazine's current issue features a four page special of beautifully rendered gaming characters in the nude. Their Playing Rough pictorial contains girls from titles such as:
- "Keaira" from Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures
- "Church & Black" from Clive Barker's Jericho
- "Morenn" from The Witcher
- "Yoko Retomoto" from Kane & Lynch
- "A'Kanna" from Conan
- "Sarah Morrison" from Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa
It's Playboy's fourth annual pictorial of this kind and they were kind enough to send along an image of Yoko Retomoto (pictured above) from Kane & Lynch. You can grab a copy of the December 2007 Playboy from the newsstands or have a peek at their playboy.com/games section for more.
Update: Playboy asked us to replace the uncensored image of Yoko Retomoto previously posted here:
Please remove the nude images and replace them with cropped or blurred

Nice image. The render looks incredibly real ... or the real girls in Playboy look incredibly artificial. Not sure anymore ;)

Did you have to blur parts of *this* picture for legal reasons? I can't believe it... did some U.S. attorney force you to do it? As far as I remember, yesterday we could see the full picture. Anyway, you need an "R" rating for this site! ;)
Yes, we've changed it due to Playboy legal issues. See news update for more on this. And no, there was no lawyer involved -- Playboy PR just asked.
@Gregore: I don't get it; I only see the foto ;) :P
The pic Gregore posted blew me away, took me over 10 minutes and a look at the wireframes to "begin" to belive that this is actually a rendering...and I still struggle.
I believe in the miracle of guessing and hand-typing file names instead of being in time :P
