Last updated on November 3, 2007 - 00:40.
Publisher Touchstone has just confirmed a PC version of the next Turok installment. “First person shooters have a rich history on the Windows PC platform and are known for having enthusiastic, dedicated fans. Turok will be an unforgettable experience ideal for the Windows PC platform when it becomes available in 2008.” -- Josh Holmes, Propaganda Games Turok: Evolution was the last game of the series to hit PCs and didn't do too well with gamers and the press. Let's hope this one turns out to be enjoyable.

Damn right, the last Turok sucked real bad on PC. But then again, which part didn't? Honestly: The first part (wasn't it like 12MB small?) was awesome due to it's graphics (with 3dfx support), but the level design was awful compared to its competitors. And the second part started out quite nice and then got boring rather quick.
Still, all Turok games had certain charm and a bunch of neat ideas -- like blood coloring the water and death animations.
it's around 18 mbyte and you can grab it from abandonware sites. even comes with native win xp support :) just google turok abandonware
