Atari released the Central Park trailer of its upcoming, fifth Alone in the Dark game. The 1:14 min. video is available for steaming and download from gamersyde.com. The sequel is being developed by Eden Games, France and planned for a release in early 2008 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The original Alone in the Dark (1992) was developed by Frederick Raynal of Infogrames and spawned a series of survival horror titles, such as Resident Evil. Back then, it was also the first game to feature textured 3D characters -- long before id Softwares Quake came out in 1996.
