As you probably all could tell from the lack of regular news and articles here -- with gross.tim's tireless work being the notable exception -- we've been away a lot during the last weeks and months, working on the next version of GamersGlobal. It is much enhanced, with many editorial departments, offering screenshots and video galleries, a big games database, enhanced search and profile functions, 20 user ranks instead of 4, dozens of medals you can win and also GGG (GamersGlobal Guilds) you can earn, and much more. Alas, it is a German website.
You can have a glimpse at it at www.gamersglobal.de, with the countdown ticking away until May 15th.
We will keep GamersGlobal.com online and running, but our main efforts will be put into GamersGlobal.de for the upcoming months. That doesn't mean that nothing will happen here anymore, but major updates might be few and far between. As GamersGlobal.com is about user participation, feel free to help us with English news content for this site! One day, the advanced functions of GamersGlobal.de (which we cannot simply use here, because they involve an editorial team behind them) might find their way to this site -- stay tuned.

What are you all talking about? Why a German version? Why not improve this one? Last time I checked, there were more English speakers in the world than Germans.
The GamersGlobal.com founders are Germans, and as the new concept is much more focussed on editorial content (but at the same time, is enhancing the user content fucntions), we simply felt it's beyond our abilities to do the new concept right, in English. Having said that, we'd love to bring the many new functions to the .com site. This might happen end of this year, or later, we simply do not know yet. In the meantime, feel free to use .com as it is intended -- why not register and start typing your first news? :-)
