OK, the headline does seem quite an overstatement, but this one is interesting nonetheless.

The developing studio Curve has now announced a new downloadable game, namely Explodemon. The game will be released via WiiWare, the PlayStation Network and also for the PC.

The developers describe the game as a "mix of classic platformers like Mario and Mega Man with a modern Halo or Half-Life 2 twist." The title will be played in 2D, although it features 3D graphics.

Curve is so far known for games like Buzz! Master Quitz and Buzz! Brain Bender for the PSP.
