Videogamer.com reports that online gaming start-up Gazillion Entertainment is titling themselves a "major player on the MMO market." According to them, this has a simple reason, namely that they have a ten-year license to make online games based on the entire Marvel universe. The Marvel universe has a rich array of various super heroes, featuring more than 5.000 characters.

Their first game is supposed to be a child-friendly online world based on a new show called Super Hero Squad. This new cartoon will first appear on Cartoon Network in autumn. The game on the other hand is expected to hit the market in 2010. The series features many well known characters like Iron Man, the Hulk, Wolverine or the Fantastic Four.

Gazillion is also working on a "giant Marvel game." This title is dubbed Marvel Universe and being developed for PC and consoles.
