Microsoft has now confirmed the rumours of a Limited Special Edition console featuring Resident Evil 5. The bundle will be available on March 13, the release date of the title.

The bundle includes a red Xbox 360 Elite (120GB hard drive), a red Wireless Controller, a black Headset and of course Resident Evil 5. Also, an exclusive Resident Evil 5 theme will be a feature of the bundle.

Unconnected, but still nice, the Special Edition includes a bonus card to download Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix from Xbox LIVE Arcade.

Microsoft underscored that this bundle is "very limited," so everyone who wants a red console should pre-order right away.

The costs will be $399 for the US, £229.99 for the UK, and (presumably) €399 for the rest of Europe. .
