Parenting Guide for 13-year olds (?): Saints Row 2Parenting Guide for 13-year olds (?): Saints Row 2

If anyone could please tell me that I am just making this up I would be very grateful. But unfortunately the story of 13-year old father Alfie Patten and 15-year old mother Chantelle Steadman, that Kotaku is reporting about, seems to be very true indeed. They just had a baby and started caring for it by chilling out on their PS3, playing the 18-rated action game Saints Row 2. Color me speechless. Aside from asking myself why Patten and Steadman already have a baby at their age the main question arising is: How on earth did they get their hands on Saints Row 2? Aren't there any parents around taking care of things like "What games does my child play?" or "Oops, why does my child have a baby?". As the only proper end to this news: Just imagine me sitting here, very confused and lost for words.

Sorry Knurrunkulus,
I´m out of words, too. This is so ****ing insane, there´s nothing to describe it. Just HOW stupid can people be these days? A 13 year old father? And the two are playing Saints Row II... that´s just so damn ... I don´t know, is ironic the right word here? Probably not, there´s not right word for such a weird situation. They´re not allowed to keep the child and raise it on their own I hope?
What a shocking story! I've seen a picture of this "family" on vg247 (I think I mustn't copy the picture, right?) and, to be honest, this scene is just disgusting.
Cool Parents :D
is this legal?
Strange Informations...
Good question, especially keeping in mind that the Brits actually forbid you to kiss in certain areas :)
But still, I guess they can´t just keep youths away from each other. Another question is if it´s legal for them to keep the child... Given the circumstances, they can´t take care of it. At least not properly.
Come on, look at these two children. It's a crime to let them keep this baby. I read some articles about the story and both don't seem to be mature enough. I'm definitely not someone who says: "You're 15, so you mustn't play a 16+ game", but Alfie is 13 and he plays an 18+ game, so even his mother is not really interested in what he's doing.
