Xbox 360: How to Install the NXE Manually

Forget about the waiting! What about getting the New Xbox Experience for your Xbox 360 here and now? All you need is a portable USB device (FAT32) at hand. Here comes the how-to:
- Manually download the NXE system update here (7.8 MB).
- Extract the content onto your USB device (USB stick, MP3 player, etc.).
- Plug it into your Xbox 360.
- The console will automatically find the update and asks you if you want to apply the update. Hit yes, and you are done. Here comes the new dashboard with all its features.
- After you've signed into your Xbox Live account you are prompted to download another update (we suggest that it's merely the CGI NXE video). Say yes, and you're so done and ready to create your Avatar!
- Don't panick: After the CGI trailer when you sign into your Xbox Live account your screen may turn black for 1-2 minutes. That's perfectly normal. Either wait it out or restart your Xbox 360.

Very good news! Although my update did install via XBox Live some hours before your news in the normal way :-) What's your opinion on the update itself? Yes, the functionality is enhanced, but I liked the "blades" look of the old version much better. Don't need no Avatars.
The best new feature in my opinion is that eventually the game library lists all my games in no time now. Before the
warNXE it took my 360 over 45 secs to mount all my XBL games, demos, etc. That was a real pain.Regarding the overall design I don't miss the old blades at all. The new, slick NXE got it all, only much better. Need no avatar either, but asking myself how I can view the my virtual place under "friends."
I experienced some problems:
Firts there seems to be a bug, my xbox freezes sometimes when i looked at one of my friends stats and retured to the screen with the avatars.
Second there seem to be connection issuses with content on the marketplace, i often got messages that things weren't available.
