Portal Prelude 1.1: New Version, More PleasurePortal Prelude 1.1: New Version, More Pleasure

No sooner was Portal released players already started to long for more just like needy babies. More levels, more story, more genius gameplay--just: more Portal--was the maxim. With Portal: Prelude, the unofficial (but therefore free) prequel modification to Valve's Portal, we got just that: more of everything! Now version 1.1.0 of Prelude is out and proves to be a worthwhile download with 19 new (and updated) quality test chambers. Nicolas on the Portal: Prelude website wrote:
This new version is shipped with more than 80 bug fixes and additions, along with slightly easier/less frustrating first levels. Warning! Savegames are NOT compatible. Your progress with chapters unlocking is saved, but not savegames. The new version of Portal: Prelude comes with tweaked, less frustrating chambers tipping the scales at a massive 843 MB as full installer or 393 MB as cumulative update for Prelude 1.0.0.

It's was the right decision to make Prelude easier. I'm sure they created a very nice story and brought much effort, but the result was too hard. It's okay if you want to do a game for people who really love that game, but the extreme way they chose was wrong.
There is (I think) something missing from the article, you say it's unofficial and therefore free, for a second there I thought "uhh nice, free Portal", but that would be to good to be true, you need the original Portal to play Prelude, right?
Yes, I'm one of the seven people on this planet who haven't bought/played Portal.
Yes, you need the actual full version of Portal. I modified the article accordingly so that it becomes clearer.
