Electronic Arts' sport game Skate will get a sequel. That's probably not such a big surprise, and was announced back in May, but EA never talked about a release date. Until now!

The way the famous website IGN found this out is quite funny, They simply read the manual of Mirror's Edge where they found this "announcement". There was a small ad which stated "Skate 2 in Stores January 2009"

So Skate 2 will be released in January 2009 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
