In the wake of Sony's recent decision to drop the price of the PlayStation 3 in Europe, and rumors of an upcoming PlayStation 3 price drop in North America, Microsoft has taken action to try to keep the focus of North American gamers on the Xbox 360.

While Microsoft doesn't plan to cut the price of the Xbox 360 again, it will add two games to its console bundles by the end of October. Both the Xbox 360 (available for just under $350) and the Xbox 360 Elite (available for just under $450) will soon be packaged with copies of Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
